Pre-Quali (PQ) is needed if the number of entries for an event may exceed the number a single server can accommodate, and/or if we have set specific PQ requirements for an event. In these cases, a period of PQ will be run prior to the race, usually for at least a week, and if necessary the race will be divided into equal size splits, based on PQ times. See the Driver Briefing tab for details of the PQ servers. In championship events, there is usually a points bonus for being in a higher (faster) split.
This is an overview of the PQ standings for this event, showing only PQ results by drivers who have registered for this event, with a PQ time set in the car they registered. The full PQ results can be found here. If you do not see yourself in this summary, but do see yourself in the full results, check that you PQ'ed in the same car you registered for this event with, and that the Steam GUID you are using for in-game matches the one you registered for this site with. Also note that lap times may not show up immediately in these results, it could be an hour or more before you see your times appear.

Incident reporting closed on Friday August 7th 2020 07:00 PM Europe/Rome
IMPORTANT - this event has non-standard features, like split class quali and a rolling start. Please make sure you have fully read and understood the season briefing. Not knowing the rules could get you banned from further competition.
The track link in the Content section is only the extended 42 pit ACRL layout. If you don't already have the original Chang track installed, you will first need to download and install it from Race Department, then copy the ACRL layout files into your AC content/tracks/chang folder. NOTE if you are getting a checksum error, you will need to re-download and re-install the ACRL layout, as we have made some changes to it since it was last used in pre-season.
All WEMSA races are long enough that both classes will need to make a pit stop. Make sure you know how to perform a pit stop, and practice entering the pits without speeding - we have automated pit speeding detection, which will earn you a 20 sec time penalty if you speed in the pits during the race.
Change has two potential pit entries. The only legal one to use is the first entry, parallel to the track on the straight approaching the last corner. DO NOT USE the pit entry in the middle of the final corner, doing so in the race could earn you a DQ and points on your license.
|Event Starts||2020-08-02 07:00 PM Europe/Rome|
|Mandatory Pit Stop||No|
Ambient temperature will be between 17C and 23C, scattered clouds, light to moderate breeze.
You are not usually obliged to run PQ, although you should check the PQ tab to see if the event has PQ requirements. If PQ is not required, and you don't set a PQ time, you will simply be added to the bottom of the time sheet along with any others who did not set a time (in order of event registration) and sorted into the lowest split accordingly. If PQ is required, and you either do not set a time or do not meet the requirements, you will not be entered for the event.
PQ server details are only available to drivers entered for this event.
The race server allocation is based on the currently checked-in entry list, and (if the event has PQ) the current PQ standings. These often change rapidly in the last few hours before the race, so check back here immediately before the race to make sure you have the right details.

Workshops are events held (usually) the day before a main season event, featuring a short race at the same track, under similar conditions, to give people a chance to practice in a live setting.
This event has a workshop, starting on Saturday August 1st 2020 07:00 PM Europe/Rome
There is no pre-booking for workshops. Entries are on a first come, first served basis.
Workshop server details are only available to drivers entered for this event.
