Welcome to ACRL's fourth endurance race in the 2021 Assetto Corsa Competizione season, for GT3. After a cold, wet and windswept Hungaroring and a swelteringly hot Imola, weather for Kyalami looks like being balmy with scattered clouds and perfect for racing.

IMPORTANT NOTE - this event has Pre-Qualification requirements you must meet in order to take part. Please read the Minimum Requirements section below.
Pre-Quali (PQ) is needed if the number of entries for an event may exceed the number a single server can accommodate, and/or if we have set specific PQ requirements for an event. In these cases, a period of PQ will be run prior to the race, usually for at least a week, and if necessary the race will be divided into equal size splits, based on PQ times. See the Driver Briefing tab for details of the PQ servers. In championship events, there is usually a points bonus for being in a higher (faster) split.
This is an overview of the PQ standings for this event, showing only PQ results by drivers who have registered for this event, with a PQ time set in the car they registered. The full PQ results can be found here. If you do not see yourself in this summary, but do see yourself in the full results, check that you PQ'ed in the same car you registered for this event with, and that the Steam GUID you are using for in-game matches the one you registered for this site with. Also note that lap times may not show up immediately in these results, it could be an hour or more before you see your times appear.

This event has minimum PQ requirements in order to be entered for the event. If a driver does not meet these requirements, they will not be entered for the event. For team (driver swap) events, a team will only be considered to have met the requirements if the minimum number of drivers required for the event have qualified. The minimum driver requirement for this event is 2. Only those drivers who meet the requirements will be able to participate in the event. The requirement for this event is a consecutive hot stint of 3 valid laps. The time required is 01:43.534 -- OR -- The alternate requirement for this event is a consecutive hot stint of 5 valid laps. The time required is 01:45.544 These times may change, so you should check back frequently to ensure that you do not need to improve your time. For drivers who have not met the hot stint requirements, the number in parentheses after the lap time is the longest valid hot stint for that driver, in which each lap met the required time. For drivers who have met the requirement, it is how "safe" they are - that is, the gap between the slowest lap in their best stint, and the current cutoff time. |

Welcome to ACRL's fourth endurance race in the 2021 ACC season. This event is GT3 only.
If you were at Imola, you will know that it did not go smoothly. We have identified the problem, and (hopefully) fixed it. Long story short, we though we had a gigabit connection with our hosting provider, but turns out it was throttled to 100mbit. So we have migrated to a newer, faster server in a different data center, with a gigabit connection. We sincerely hope this will cure the problems experienced at our last event.
PRACTICE SERVER - there is a practice server up on a 90 minute loop for the week prior to the event which uses (more or less) the same weather conditions as the race server, so teams can practice driver swaps, and get a feel for the potential conditions. Password is 'NotSetYet' (no quotes). The server will be regenerated once per day, using the current entry list. If you have only just signed up, you will have to wait till the next restart to be able to join the server.
THERE IS NO ATTACHED QUALI FOR THIS EVENT. Pre-qualifying results will be used to set the grid for the race. Ordering will be done by the average of each team driver's fastest valid stints. So for each driver on the team, the system finds the fastest average consecutive X lap stint (where X is the 3 or 5 lap stint outlined below), and then averages those for all drivers on the team. Doing this minimizes the qualifying advantage of having one team member who is much faster than the others.
For example:
Ubernova Cruising has three drivers with the following stints
- Dick Day: (1:44.5, 1:44.3, 1:44.4) = avg laptime 1:44.4
- Die Sell: (1:45.5, 1:45.3, 1:45.4) = avg laptime 1:45.4
- Meta Lica: (1:44.1, 1:44.3, 1:44.2) = avg laptime 1:44.2
Their pre-qualifying time would be the average of those three averages. so: 1:44.6 (or something akin to that, I'm not a math guy, sue me)
This event has PQ requirements you must meet in order to be entered. You must either record 3 consecutive, clean laps within 103% of the fastest time, or 5 laps at 105%. Times are recorded automatically, all you need to do is run the laps on our PQ servers, and you can run as many laps as you want - we will automatically find your best stint. The target times will be frozen 24 hours before the event, so the goalposts don't move at the last minute. Drivers not meeting the PQ requirements will not be entered in the event and, if this means that the team then does not have the minimum of two drivers, the team itself will not be entered.
The minimum team size is two drivers, maximum is four. If you need help finding a team mate, visit our Discord channel, and ask in the #find-a-team-mate channel.
Max stint length is 65 minutes, with max total drive time set at 285 minutes for 4 person teams, meaning that one driver could do approximately half the race. Max drive time will be scaled automatically by the game for two or three person teams. To avoid a penalty you must pit before the stint timer expires.
There will be live stewarding for at least the first hour of the event. We will be monitoring the first few laps very closely, and anyone causing incidents on the first lap may be penalized harshly, up to and including a DSQ. We want to get a clean start to the race.
If you teleport back to the pits at any time during the race session, your race is over. If you teleport back to the pits during quali, your quali session is over (although you may teleport back to your pit box once you are in the pits), you must not leave the pits again.

This event has Pre-Quali (PQ), running from 2021-03-03 09:00 AM Europe/Rome to 2021-04-03 02:45 PM Europe/Rome . PQ is used to sort drivers into multiple splits by laptime. You do not need to take any action to register your times, the process is automated, simply drive laps on one of the listed PQ servers.
This event has a PQ requirement. This means that you must meet the requirement(s) specified in the Pre-Quali tab on this page in order to participate in the event. If you either do not set a time or do not meet the requirements, you will not be entered for the event.
PQ server details are only available to drivers entered for this event.
IMPORTANT - this season has mandatory voice briefings for some or all drivers, so the server password will not be displayed here. In order to get the password you must attend the pre-race voice briefing in the #driver-briefing voice channel on our Discord server 10 minutes before the start of practice.
