Welcome to The Sangria Siesta Time 6 Hour Multi-Class of Barcelona, ACRL's eighth race in the 2021 Assetto Corsa Competizione Endurance season. This event has different, class specific Pre-Quali requirements, so please read the Driver Briefing carefully!

Pre-Quali (PQ) is needed if the number of entries for an event may exceed the number a single server can accommodate, and/or if we have set specific PQ requirements for an event. In these cases, a period of PQ will be run prior to the race, usually for at least a week, and if necessary the race will be divided into equal size splits, based on PQ times. See the Driver Briefing tab for details of the PQ servers. In championship events, there is usually a points bonus for being in a higher (faster) split.

If you do not see yourself in this summary, but do see yourself in the full results, check that you PQ'ed in the same car you registered for this event with, and that the Steam GUID you are using for in-game matches the one you registered for this site with. Also note that lap times may not show up immediately in these results, it could be an hour or more before you see your times appear.

This event is multi-class, for GT3 and GT4.
PRE-QUALI - this event has "Per Class" PQ requirements you must meet in order to be entered. The requirements for the GT3 class are stricter than GT4. If you wish to run in GT3, you must set 3 consecutive, valid laps within 102.5% of the fastest GT3 time. For GT4, you must do 3 consecutive, clean laps within 105% of the fastest GT4 time. Based on previous events, we would expect the GT3 cutoff time to be around 1:45, so if you cannot consistently lap within the high 44's, you should consider selecting a GT4. If you register with GT3 and find you cannot meet the requirements, you can change your car selection to a GT4 (and re-qualify).
NOTE that this per-class requirement is not something we will be doing regularly, rather it is an experiment, as an attempt to get a balanced grid with a decent sized GT4 field. With "free choice", we find that most people opt for GT3, with only a small handful of GT4's.
Times are recorded automatically, all you need to do is run the laps on our PQ servers, and you can run as many laps as you want - we will automatically find your best stint. The target times will be frozen about a week before the event, so the goalposts don't move at the last minute and you have plenty of time to know which class car you need to drive. Drivers not meeting either of the PQ requirements will not be entered in the event and, if this means that the team then does not have the minimum of two drivers, the team itself will not be entered.
PRACTICE SERVER - there will be a practice server up on a 90 minute loop for the week prior to the event which uses (more or less) the same weather conditions as the race server, so teams can practice driver swaps, and get a feel for the potential conditions. Password is 'NotSetYet' (no quotes). The server will be regenerated once per day, using the current entry list. If you have only just signed up, you will have to wait till the next restart to be able to join the server.
THERE IS NO ATTACHED QUALI FOR THIS EVENT. Pre-qualifying results will be used to set the grid for the race. Ordering will be done by the average of each team's fastest valid stints. So for each driver on the team, the system finds the fastest average consecutive 3 lap stint, and then averages those for all drivers on the team. Doing this minimizes the qualifying advantage of having one team member who is much faster than the others.
The minimum team size is two drivers, maximum is three. If you need help finding a team mate, visit our Discord channel, and ask in the #find-a-team-mate channel.
Max stint length is 65 minutes, with max total drive time set at 195 minutes for 3 person teams, meaning that one driver could do approximately half the race. Max drive time will be scaled automatically by the game for two person teams. To avoid a penalty you must cross the pit entry line before the stint timer expires.
There may be live stewarding for at least the first hour of the event. We will be monitoring the first few laps very closely, and anyone causing incidents on the first lap may be penalized harshly, up to and including a DSQ. We want to get a clean start to the race. Ha Ha.
If you teleport back to the pits at any time during the race session, your race is over. If you teleport back to the pits during quali, your quali session is over (although you may teleport back to your pit box once you are in the pits), you must not leave the pits again.

This event has Pre-Quali (PQ), running from 2021-07-25 01:00 AM Europe/Rome to 2021-09-04 03:45 PM Europe/Rome . PQ is used to sort drivers into multiple splits by laptime. You do not need to take any action to register your times, the process is automated, simply drive laps on one of the listed PQ servers.
